Gyeonggi-do metropolitan Mobility Center for Transportation-Disadvantaged Groups
Gyeonggi-do metropolitan Mobility Center for Transportation-Disadvantaged Groups
Supporting the mobility rights of transportation-disadvantaged individuals who face challenges using public transportation, thereby contributing to the realization of transportation welfare.
About the Center
The Gyeonggi-do Province Metropolitan Mobility Support Center for Transportation-Disadvantaged Individuals was established to realize transportation welfare for those who find it difficult to use public transportation. We are committed to ensuring that transportation-disadvantaged individuals using special transportation services (vehicles equipped with wheelchair-accessible facilities) can travel more safely and comfortably.
Principal Contents of Project
Gyeonggi-do Province, in accordance with Article 7-2 of the Act on Promotion of Mobility for Persons with Disabilities, has established the "Gyeonggi Metropolitan Mobility Support Plan" to enhance the convenience of mobility for transportation-disadvantaged individuals. Through this initiative, the province has developed the "Gyeonggi Metropolitan Mobility Support System" and standardized the operating guidelines for call taxis for disabled, which previously varied across cities and counties. By streamlining administrative procedures and improving operational efficiency, we aim to support the convenient metropolitan transportation, enabling more transportation-disadvantaged individuals to enjoy improved daily lives.
