What is the Children and Youth Transportation Expense Support Program?

This program aims to alleviate the transportation cost burden for youth with low economic independence.

Project Overview

Eligible Subjects

  1. 01 Children and youth aged 6 to 18 years old who are registered residents of Gyeonggi-do Province (Includes foreign residents and children/youth of foreign nationality with domestic residence registration)
  2. 02 Children or youth who use a transportation card for public transportation in the metropolitan area.

Supported Amount

  1. 01 Up to KRW 60,000 per quarter (maximum KRW 240,000 per year).

  1. 01 Local/Regional Currency

Eligibility Criteria

  1. 01 As of the application date, the child or youth shall: Be listed on a resident registration certificate showing residence in Gyeonggi-do Province. Or have used public transportation in the metropolitan area during the applicable period.

Scope of Support

  1. 01 ncludes all public transportation in the metropolitan area (based on tagging): (Intercity) Buses, Subways (including light rail), GTX, Shinbundang Line, Shared bicycles (limited to payments made through the DDOKTA (DRT) app).

Application Period

  1. 01 Quarterly applications (verification of residency required in the first quarter of each year).
