PRINCIPAL CONTENTS OF PROJECT
Route Bidding and Selection of Transportation Operators
- 01 Strengthen the public nature of public transportation through limited licenses.
- 02 Enhance service quality and efficiency through competitive bidding.
- 03 Transfer of provincial-city-county Seat-type Nonstop Bus operations (from Gyeonggi-do public bus → Metropolitan bus licensed by MOLIT system).
Subsidies for Transportation Costs
- 01 Stabilize public bus operations by supporting financially unviable routes.
- 02 Enhance public interest and transparency through the settlement of transportation costs.
- 03 Implement systematic management of transportation revenues and costs through daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual settlements.
Transportation Evaluation of transport services
- 01 Conduct evaluation of transport services to encourage transportation operators to voluntarily improve safety and transportation services.
- 02 Perform annual absolute evaluations by route, apply differentiated performance-based incentives, and determine renewal eligibility for limited licenses.
Implementation of Competency Training for Gyeonggi Public Bus Operators
- 01 To provide services that public bus passengers can feel and be satisfied with, customer service training for bus operators and the introduction of an Excellence Certification Program for outstanding operators are designed to enhance operator pride.
