DDOBUS(Demand-responsive transportation)
Operating in rural and new town areas within Gyeonggi-do Province where public transportation is weak, contributing to addressing transportation blind spots and promoting the use of public transit.
Project Overview
- 01 Demand-Responsive Transit (DRT), a flexible transportation system that adjusts to passenger requests, operating without fixed routes or schedules.
- 02 Expansion of Supplementary Transportation Services which increases connectivity between residential areas and major transit hubs in transportation-vulnerable areas.
- 03 Fare Integration and Discounts which offers the same fare as regular city buses within Gyeonggi Province (1,450 KRW for adults using transit cards) and applying the metropolitan integrated transfer discount system for enhanced travel convenience.

Application for Regulatory Exception
- 01 Under Article 3 of the Passenger Transport Service Act, demand-responsive passenger transportation services can be provided only in cases where public transportation is insufficient, such as in ①Rural communities and ②New towns, and during late-night hours where transportation inconveniences occur.
- 02 Applications for regulatory exceptions are submitted to enable demand-responsive passenger transportation services in transportation-vulnerable areas beyond rural communities and new towns.
DDOKBUS Operation and Management
- 01 Operation and management of the DDOKBUS platform to ensure safe DDOKBUS services.
- 02 Real-time monitoring of operations and accident response to manage potential operational risks.
- 03 Training for transportation operators and administrators to provide high-quality public transportation services.
- 04 Dedicated call center operations to deliver convenient DDOKBUS services for users.
